DGCA COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE (CPL) GROUND CLASSES
DGCA CPL Exams consist of total 6 exams.

▪︎ AIR REGULATION.
▪︎ AVIATION METEOROLOGY.
▪︎ TECHNICAL GENERAL.
▪︎ TECHNICAL SPECIFIC.
▪︎ RTR(A).
DGCA conducts these exams every 3 months in a year, tentatively in January, April, July, October. The duration of of your commercial pilot training is related to the time you take to clear DGCA CPL Exams.

Air Regulation
Air Regulation is a study of subject related to wide variety of rules and regulations of India and INTERNATIONAL CIVIL AVIATION ORGANIZATION (ICAO) such as aircraft design and maintenance, all the phases of Flight, pilot training activities, man-made structure heights, obstruction lighting and markings. The rules are designed to promote Aviation safety, along with certification of pilots, schools, or operation of airplanes.
Aviation Meteorology
Aviation Meteorology focuses towards fundamentals which aims to provide an understanding of the physical properties of the atmosphere and how they affect the weather, with an emphasis on the factors affecting aviation.
Technical General
One of the most important and interesting subjects related to pilot training. It includes studies of Aerodynamics, Principle Of flights, Aircraft systems, Jet Engines, piston engines, propeller.
Technical Specific
This Exam is specifically of the particular aircraft on which student is getting trained in their respective flying school, such as Cessna 172, Cessna 152, DA-40, Etc. Exam syllabus is primarily focused on the systems and type of engine installed in the aircraft used for training.
Radio Telephony Restricted- RTR(A)
This Examination is conducted in conjunction with WPC and DGCA. Exam is divided into 2 Sections. Part-1,which deals in Radio transmission test & Part-2, which is a Viva of Regulations, Radio-aids, Basic Electrical theory.
